This is the dream team! Honestly I could never say enough good things about Hal or Jeff! They helped us purchase our first home and not only just a home but our dream home. Being from the Midwest we were very unsure what to expect when it came to the Pacific Northwest market but Hal and Jeff went above and beyond to work with us. We spent many hours, nights and weekends searching for the right home. Hal and Jeff were so knowledgeable from general homeowners questions, to the neighborhoods around the area and just general housing questions. They really helped us be able to understand what to expect and look for. Not only did their knowledge help but their honesty and integrity were out of this world. If you are familiar with the Seattle market, you know it’s a hot market but Hal and Jeff were with us every step of the way making the process as least stressful as possible, enjoyable and a fun, the way buying your first home should be. Jeff was absolutely amazing throughout the entire home buying process. We'd originally met him a few years ago when we had looked at a few homes; he instantly remembered us and was as excited as we were to work together again. He remembered what we liked and didn't like and was quick to pick up where we left off. As we began to look for homes, Jeff would send over a list of 10-15 homes several days before touring, so that my wife and I could review and pick our favorites. Before meeting, he would have the addresses programed into his car so that we could tour as many homes as possible in the quickest route possible. He was professional but very personable and fun to be with, and quickly became a friend. During home tours, Jeff never pressured us into making a decision. He would point out concerns, help us visualize how homes might fit us, and quickly get answers for any questions we might have. When we found our dream home, Jeff made a plan for how we should proceed, all while my wife and I were worried we might not get the house. We've worked with Hal in the past to buy and sell a home, and we knew we wanted to work with him again. When we knew we were going to need to move out of the area, Hal did an initial walk-through with us to consider the condition of our home and what areas we should prioritize for maintenance or upgrades to make the home sell faster and for a good price. His review of comparable sales and the extensive packet of information he provided to explain his pricing recommendations were incredibly helpful for us to understand the quickly changing current market. He helped us stage our home, and the photos he had taken for the listing showed our place to its best. The pricing strategy and timing that Hal suggested paid off wonderfully. On the same weekend that the news was reporting that Seattle housing prices were falling, we had 4 offers on our home within a day of going on the market. We had an enviable choice of competing offers, and we signed for over-asking price. The features of the home that the buyers identified as key to their decision to make their offer were exactly the upgrades and elements that Hal had us focus on as we prepared the home for sale. I have worked with Hal and his business partner, Jeff Green on three transactions. I bought a home in 2004, sold my house in 2008 and purchased a new home in 2011. When I listed my home in 2008, It was at the beginning of the Real Estate decline and my home ended up being on the market for 8 months. I was moving out of state for a new job and while in the hands of any other real estate agent I would have been nervous, I had every confidence that Hal would do what was needed to take care of my home and facilitate the sale. Hal lived up to and surpassed my expectations. He kept me informed through the whole process and made three failed sales bearable. When the property finally sold, Hal did more than expected to help me close out the property and get it ready for the new owner as I was living out of state. I moved back to Seattle in 2011 and Hal helped me to find a new property to buy. He listened to my needs and desires and came up with a list of potential properties several of which were within my budget and had most of what was on my "want" list. Hal negotiated the offer masterfully and the transaction went very smoothly. I highly recommend Hal.

Hal has worked with us to both buy and sell homes. Not only is our trust in his expertise and knowledge high but it is constantly growing. He always goes out of his way without question to provide the best service and honestly shares his opinion (he gives the full pros and cons of any decisions but always let us make the final decision without being pushy). Some examples of the level of Hal's service include 1) Viewing homes during a snowstorm to ensure we were prepared before we went out together 2) patiently taking the time on several weekends to look at close to 20 or more homes before settling on the right one and 3) always taking into account our specific constraints when searching. My biggest compliment is that Hal really took the time to understand our needs and did thorough research on each home we looked at. I have no doubt that Hal would provide exemplary service to any of his future clients. Wow, talk about under-selling and over-delivering! We had the good fortune to work with Hal and bad fortune to need him for each area this review covers. As we started, we described what we wanted and provided links to some properties that seem to fit our needs and lifestyle. We went out on Saturday to look at 5 properties with low expectations. One turned out to be just what we wanted. Hal got the ball rolling, wrote the contract to fit our needs and put the offer in. With a little back-and-forth we had an agreement and started moving forward. As we started working through the process we hit a few snags that required additional negotiations that had to happen quickly. Yesterday we closed on our original target closing date and the deal was a win/win for us and the seller. During the entire process Hal was very quick to respond and inform us so we always knew where we were in the process and if anything was needed from us. Also, the tool set used was easy to navigate and all of the work done electronically and painlessly. Will we use them again? Nobody else!

If Zillow allowed 1,000 stars, Jeff and Hal are worthy of them! I’m not one to leave online reviews but these two men need to be recognized for how amazing they are! I was referred to them by several friends who had previously worked with them and am so glad I did as well. They helped me navigate a major remodel of my home (within 3-weeks) to get it on the market and were more than willing to be hands on to help the entire process. From helping to touch-up paint, install under counter lightening, replacing fixtures, you name it, if something needed to be done, they were there! I was out of town quite frequently and they never hesitated to go to my property to let contractors in, provide direction, and just overall manage the selling process. As a first-time home-seller I wasn’t sure what to expect but never expected this level of exceptional service they gave me! I cannot wait to have Jeff help me find my new forever home! I not only consider them the best real estate agents in Seattle, but consider them my friends now as well!

If I could leave 100 stars for Jeff and Hall I would! We worked with Jeff from 3,000 miles away (NYC) to sell our home in Seattle and we couldn't be more pleased with the outcome. Our tenants had done some significant damage to the house so it was not a small or easy job to take on. Jeff was enthusiastic and walked us through recommended repairs, shared a host of contacts who were just as reliable and professional as he was and managed all the necessary work.
